As part of the seventh HTI (Health Tourism Industry) Conference that took place for the second time in Croatia, and this year from 28 February to 2 March in the Lone hotel in Rovinj, the award ceremony for the best European health tourism destinations was held - “Medical Tourism Index”.

The Tenth ISABS Conference on Forensic and Anthropologic Genetics and Mayo Clinic Lectures in Individualized Medicine is a conference dedicated to new discoveries in medicine, forensics, and anthropologic genetics. The conference will be held in Dubrovnik from 19 to 24 June.

The first Michelin star for one Croatian restaurant, Monte in Rovinj, as well as Michelin’s recommendations for 30 other restaurants for this year are very important for the promotion of gastronomy and the overall tourist offer.

The last round of talks took place during the last meeting of the Alliance held in Riga in April of this year, and the fact we were admitted to the association represents a great recognition for Croatia.

The independent website “European Best Destinations” carried out its online poll for the category “Best European Christmas Market” again this year, and the Croatian capital has won this title for the second year in a row, among 20 candidate cities!

In cooperation with the airport in Toulouse, the Representative Office of the Croatian National Tourist Board in France organised the presentation of the Croatian tourist offer, with an emphasis on new flights from this economically strong region.

The Croatian National Tourist Board, together with its partner in international markets, the Grayling PR agency, won the prestigious award “PR Report Award” .

The Russian edition of the National Geographic Traveler magazine included Croatia among the top 3 best tourist destinations for a family vacation!

As a tourist destination, Croatia has won another among numerous valuable recognitions. In fact, readers of the famous American tourism magazine Travel and Leisure (T+L) chose our country as the world’s destination of 2016!

During the first day of the “Days of Croatian Tourism” event, a traditional meeting of the tourism industry operators, the Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, Mr. Ratomir Ivičić, presented a comprehensive analysis of the Croatian tourism brand’s strength, as well as the projected activities of the Croatian National Tourist Board for 2017.
