CNTB received Jet2.com Award for Long-Term Strategic Partnership
The Croatian National Tourist Board has received Jet2.com’s award for Long-Term Strategic Partner, recognising its longstanding partnership with one of the most important partners for Croatian tourism on the UK market. The award was presented last night as part of Jet2.com’s annual conference in Leeds and was accepted by Bisera Fabrio, Director of the CNTB Representative Office in the United Kingdom.
“We are extremely proud to receive this award, as it recognises a partnership that has been built over many years on mutual trust, professionalism and a shared understanding of the UK market. Jet2.com is one of our key partners, and together we have developed activities that bring Croatia closer to British travellers, while also keeping pace with their travel habits, expectations and emerging trends. It is particularly important that our partnership connects destination promotion with tangible accessibility and strong air connectivity. I am confident that we will continue to develop our cooperation in the years ahead, with an even greater focus on Croatia’s year-round tourism offering,” said Fabrio.
A key strength of the partnership lies in the strong link between the promotion of Croatian destinations and convenient air connectivity. Jet2.com, the UK’s third-largest airline, operates bases in Croatia in Pula, Split and Dubrovnik.
The UK market is one of the traditional key source markets for Croatian tourism. So far this year, Croatia has recorded 785,000 arrivals and more than 3.8 million overnight stays from the UK market, representing a 2% increase in arrivals and a 1% increase in overnight stays compared with the same period last year.
