In Berlin today was the ceremonial opening of the world’s largest tourism fair ITB, where the Croatian National Tourist Board premiered its new stand which it will use until 2022.
According to the data of the eVisitor system, which contains the tourist traffic in commercial and non-commercial facilities and nautical charter (the eCrew system), in Croatia in the period from January to the end of February 443,000 arrivals (+12%) and 1.2 million overnight stays (+11%) were registered.
The restaurants Pelegrini (Šibenik) and 360º (Dubrovnik) have received one Michelin star, whilst the list of restaurants with a Michelin recommendation (with the symbol of a spoon and fork) has grown by 24 new restaurants.

According to the data of the eVisitor system, which contains the tourist traffic from commercial and non-commercial facilities and nautical charter (the eCrew system), 217,000 arrivals (+20%) and 612,000 overnight stays (+17%) were made.
The Croatian national tourist information system eVisitor has won the third place and the award of the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) for inventiveness in research and technology.
According to the data provided by the eVisitor system, which includes the tourist traffic recorded in commercial and non-commercial objects and in the boat charter sector (eCrew system) from January to the end of December of the tourist year 2017, 18.5 million arrivals were recorded (+13%) and 102 million overnight stays (+12%).
The Community of Tourist Guide Associations of Croatia (ZDTVH) in cooperation with the Croatian Tourist Board organised the project “Upoznaj svoju zemlju” (Get to know your country) to commemorate the Day of International Recognition of Croatia.
The promotional video of the Croatian National Tourist Board, “Croatia Full of Wellbeing”, was named the best national tourism film at the 20th International Tourism Film Festival - ITF’CRO, and received the “Baldo Čupić” award.
