Croatia has seen an explosion of tourists from France this year with 150 percent more French tourists compared to last year.

The Croatian National Tourist Board office in New York is participating in the most important tourist event on the American continent - Virtuoso Travel Week, which brings together representatives of the most influential tourist entities specializing in luxury and experiential travel. 

Data collected through the eVisitor system show excellent peak season trends, according to which about 1.6 million arrivals and about 12 million overnight stays were recorded in Croatia thus far, which is a 20 percent increase in arrivals compared to the same period last August and 29 percent in overnight stays.

Of the 25 million overnight stays, 21.6 million were generated by foreign tourists and 3.3 million by domestic visitors.

The company returns in early August with regular flights from the UK to three Croatian airports - Dubrovnik, Split and Pula.

Croatian Motorways in joint cooperation with the Croatian National Tourist Board wanted to transfer part of the natural beauty of Croatia to the Lučko toll station.
